Welcome to our Earlham College
Tiny House Project Blog
“In the same way that music inspires us to certain feelings, space can do the same thing.” Sarah Susanka
We are Abby McCullough and Lily Fishleder. For about 3.5 months during the summer of 2016, in Denver (Colorado), we spent a significant amount of time building our own tiny house.
Our hope is for this building to not only be a home we can always return to, but for it to serve as an educational tool for our Earlham College community and Richmond (Indiana) community at large. After we graduate we will continue to live in our tiny house.
On March 30th our proposal for this project to be approved, and the house to reside on campus was approved. This year, January 12th, our Variance of Use application was approved. *

* Update 24 January: Recently we’ve been told to seek more types of approval. Stay tuned for those updates.*
